Losen the screw-in crown and pull it to position 1. In this position,
you can use the direct-advance function to move the date and the
month forwards one step at a time by turning the crown slowly
but continuously to the left. To move the day forward one step at
a time, turn the crown slowly but continuously to the right. The
calendar must not be adjusted between 6 p.m. and 3 a.m.

Located at 12 o'clock on the dial, the annual calendar from
IWC shows the month, date and day in three separate, semicir-
cular windows. The change mechanism automatically takes into
account the differing lengths of individual months. However, the
annual calendar is unable to factor in the differing length of the
month of February or the leap years. Once a year, then, at the end
of February, it requires manual correction.
