The accuracy of the output data is subject to the volumeter used.
At low flow rates, deviations from the actual value are possible
for technical reasons.

6.7 Frost protection
Solar heating systems are generally filled with a heat transfer
medium since, on the one hand, temperatures > 100 °C can occur
in the solar circuit, and on the other hand to prevent frost damage
to the system in winter.
6.7.1 Setting
Various heat transfer media are available.
Setting options:

If glycol or a water/glycol mixtures are used as heat transfer
medium, observe the following information.
6.7.2 H-30L
The anti-freeze is premixed with a mixing ratio of 45% by vol.
6.7.3 H-30LS
The antifreeze is premixed with a mixing ratio of 42% by vol.
6.7.4 Determining the water/glycol ratio
Since the thermal capacity of the heat transfer medium is subject
to the glycol content, first determine the glycol:water ratio.

The value in % by vol. can be calculated if the volumes of water
and glycol used in the system are known.

VG: Volume of glycol
VW: Volume of water
example:
If there are 15 l water and 20 l glycol in the circuit, the result is:

This adjustable parameter is subject to the volumeter connected.
Note the unit "l/imp" next to the arrow on the volumeter.
If the volumeter V40 provided is used, the pulse value must be set
to 10.0 litres/impulse.
