2.1 correct use
The heat meter and associated volumeter are designed for
recording heat volumes in standard solar or central heating
systems, filled with water or glycol/water mixtures, in detached
houses and apartment buildings.
Any other or additional use is inappropriate, for example capturing
process heat, or usage in systems operated with alternative media.
Observation of these instructions is also part of the correct use
of this appliance. Any changes or modifications to the appliance
void any warranty.
2.2 Safety instructions

Only heating contractors should install and commission this
appliance.
The contractor is responsible for adherence to all currently
applicable regulations during installation and commissioning.
Operate this appliance only if it is fully installed and all safety
equipment is fitted.

to control this appliance, ensure that this will only
happen under supervision or after appropriate
instructions by a person responsible for their safety.

3. Device description

3.1 Properties

The device is a universal heat meter for solar heating systems,
heat pump systems and conventional heating systems.
It is operated by three pushbuttons that navigate a menu, which let
you select different system parameters or switch between control
levels.
Furthermore, a light-emitting diode (LED) serves to display sensor
faults and incorrect sensor connections.
The heat volume calculated and the system parameters set are
saved if a power failure occurs.
