3. Devices and Operating Elements
Please observe that only those activities of the engine are

described here which are required for operating the weed
brush. All other information on the engine may be taken from the
enclosed engine operating instructions!

5.4 Changing of the Rotor

following instructions are only intended
for this specialist workshop.
Remove spark plug connector!
Tilt or raise the machine to the rear.
Ensure that work is carried out on a firm
surface!
Remove any dirt and foreign objects from
the rotor head,
loosen the screw in the centre of the rotor
head,
pull the rotor head from the engine shaft,
mount a new rotor head onto the engine
shaft, tighten up the screw.

6. Troubleshooting

5.5 Safety off-switch

Prior to every starting up and every mainte-
nance work, check the safety off-switch function:

5.6 Protection Liners
Prior to every starting up and with every mainte-
nance work, check the protective cover cloths on
the left, right and at the rear for wear or damage
and exchange them where necessary.
5.6 Leakages

Pay attention to any leakages of fuel or oil. If an
oil leakage is visible: seal up leakage immediate-
ly and top up oil if necessary.

After every use of the weed brush, clean it with
water without delay, especially between the

For longer periods of no operation prepare

Repair paint coat.
Grease all lubricating points and operate the
machine for a short time.
Spray all blank parts with bio anti-corrosive oil.
Do not park the weed brush in humid rooms, in
rooms where fertilizer is stored, in stables or adjacent
rooms because of severe corrosion.
Cover the machine with cloth or a similar cover.
