12 Troubleshooting

12.1 Malfunctions

Problem
Valve opens/closes only with
manual opening, but not on any
electric signal
Valve fails to open even with
manual opening

Remedy
Turn screw to the left as far as
it will go
Take out coil and clean core
Check coil resistance (should
be ca. 35 ohms) and replace if
necessary
Clean channel
Clean control water / relief
hole
Establish pressure supply
Clean coil seat
Clean valve seat and sealing
plate
Take out valve and replace
diaphragm
Tighten 'pressure regulator
screw'
Clean control water filter
Tighten Screw for ‚Manual
opening'
Clean valve seat and sealing
plate
Exchange pressure regulating
insert
Exchange O-ring and seal with
teflon tape
Set inlet nozzle to correct
nozzle diameter
Clean turbine
Clip parts together again
Clean valve and flush sprinkler
Turn pressure regulator screw
to the left towards (+)
