IHP 20 – IHP 90 Metal Fan Heater
1. Important Notices
Read all information contained in this manual
carefully. Keep these instructions in a safe place and
hand them over, if applicable, to the next owner.
−
The appliance is not intended
for use other than indoor in a
home environment.
− The appliance is not tested for a
industrial use.
− All repairs and interventions in the appliance may only
be performed by qualified persons or the customer ser-
vice.
− It is imperative that all national provisions for the instal-
lation of heating devices in rooms with a bath tub or
shower be adhered to.
− The appliance must not be used in the immediate sur-
roundings of a bath, a shower, a wash-basin or a
swimming pool.
− In the event of any defect (e.g. appliance or power cord
is damaged, unit is not working), the appliance must be
disconnected from the power supply.
− Always unplug the heater in case of extended periods
of non-use.
− The heating appliance must not be
covered as there is a risk of fire!
− The appliance is not intended for
use by children or infirm persons.
Children must be prevented from
playing with the appliance.
− Caution! The outside oft he appliance gets hot when in
use.
− Do not insert any objects into the openings oft he hea-
ter.
− If the supply cord of this appliance is damaged it must
be replaced from a expert by one available from the
manufacturer or its service agent.
− Do not use the appliance in areas where flammable
gase or liquids are stored or used.
− Caution! After the appliance has been switched on
automatically, potential hazards may exist, e.g. appli-
ances that have been covered or obstructed in the
meantime may give rise or fire.
− Make sure that minimum clearances, in particular to
easily inflammable materials or heat-sensitive plastic
materials, are maintained (see Section "3. Installati-
on,Mounting")
− Do not place the supply cord over the
hot appliance..
− The appliance must not be disposed in
the normal houshold rubbish.
2. Warranty
Authorised dealers can provide information on the terms
and conditions of warranty. The warranty is not valid with-
out a sales receipt marked with the date of purchase..
3. Installition, Mounting
3.1 General
The appliance must be set up or installed in such a way
that switches and other controls cannot be touched by the
person using the bath or the shower.
The appliance must not be placed directly under a wall
outlet.
It is absolutely necessary that the minimum clearances
indicated in the mounting diagram be maintained.
Beyond that, a clearance space of at least 1000 mm is to
be allowed in front of the ap-
pliance.

3.2 Wall mounting
The heating appliance may only be mounted and operated
on a vertical wall as shown in the mounting diagram.
The electrical outlet must be accessible after the appliance
has been mounted.
Mounting procedure:
1. Position bracket horizontally tot he wall and mark the
holes for drilling.
2. Drill the holes and insert the wall plugs..
3. Affix wall bracket using suitable screws (A).
4. Engage appliance in wall bracket.
5. Turn in securing screw (B) so that the appliance is se-
cured preventing it from becoming disengaged from
the bracket.
