• The UFC-1 LCD performs an automatic storage battery test. If a
storage battery cannot be charged by the UFC-1 LCD anymore, or
if you have inserted a non-rechargeable battery by accident, the
charging status LED starts flashing in red color on top of the
respective compartment and the display indicates „BAD". Das
UFC-1 LCD beeps three times. Remove the defective storage
battery from the UFC-1 LCD and dispose of the storage battery
according to the relevant statutory requirements.
• If the storage battery is ok, the charger automatically switches to
the quick-charge mode. This is indicated individually for each
charging compartment by red flashing of the charging status LED
and by the bar display of the LCD running upwards. After each
full run of the bar display, it stops for several seconds to indicate
the current charging status of the storage battery.
• After the storage battery has been fully charged, the charger
automatically switches the respective channel to trickle charge.
This is indicated by green light of the charging status LED. The
display indicates „OK" and the UFC-1 LCD beeps 5 times. You do
not have to remove the storage batteries from the charger after
the quick charge. An overcharge of the storage batteries is
prevented by means of the Minus-Delta-U cutoff, the 6-hours
safety timer and the trickle charge function!
Refresh / Discharge function
This function resets the „accumulation" of the storage batteries by
means of discharging. This is recommended, if your storage batteries
do not work properly any longer. It is particularly recommended for
NiCd storage batteries in order to prevent the memory effect. To
activate the discharge function, proceed as follows:
• After inserting the storage batteries into the charger (see
„Charging storage batteries"), press the „DISCHARGE" key for
approx. 5 seconds.
• The Refresh/Discharge process starts. This is indicated by orange
light of the charging status LED and by the bar display of the LCD
running downward. After each full run of the bar display, it stops
for several seconds to indicate the current discharging status of
the storage battery.
• After the storage batteries have been fully discharged, the quick

Mode d'emploi
Alimentation en courant
Déterminez l'alimentation en courant souhaitée. Vous pouvez choisir
soit un adaptateur secteur pour prises de courant 100 - 240 VAC soit
un câble adaptateur 12V pour allume-cigare dans une caravane, un
véhicule automobile ou similaire.
Adaptateur secteur : Pour alimenter le UFC-1 LCD en courant à
l'aide d'un adaptateur secteur, branchez ce dernier dans une prise de
courant (100 -240 VAC/50-60Hz) .
Câble adaptateur 12 V : Branchez le câble adaptateur 12 V dans
l'allume-cigare. La présence de tension sur la fiche DC est indiquée
par la LED rouge du câble adaptateur qui s'allume. Si elle ne s'allume
pas, contrôlez le bon fonctionnement de l'allume-cigare et le fusible
du connecteur (2 A à action instantannée)
Introduisez la fiche femelle de l'adaptateur secteur ou du câble
adaptateur 12 V dans la douille d'entrée DC sur la face de dessous
du chargeur. Le UFC-1 LCD émet deux bips sonores.
Recharge d'accus
• Insérez les accus à recharger dans le chargeur.
Faites bien attention à respecter la polarité ! Le pôle positif
des accus doit être dirigé vers les diodes LED du chargeur.
• Vu que chaque compartiment de recharge est muni d'une
surveillance
individuelle,
simultanément de 1 à 4 accus R6 et/ou R3. Les accus peuvent
également avoir des capacités et des états de charge différents,
grâce à la surveillance individuelle de chaque compartiment,
chaque accu sera rechargé suivant ses critères individuels. Une
