2. Putting on the harness
Before putting on the harness, ensure that all outer zippers are closed and that
the container of the chute is fixed by the plastic buckles inside. Also ensure that
all stowed stuff is secured.
Put the arms thru the openings of the shoulder belts and check that the harness
bears on your shoulders.
Then lay the leg loops around your thighs and close the loops with the buckles.
Check closure of the buckles by pulling on the loops.
Harnesses with leg loops without buckles, first get into the loops and then the
chute is fixed by the plastic buckles inside. Also ensure that all stowed stuff is
secured. Put the arms thru the openings of the shoulder belts and then put the
arms thru the openings of the shoulder belts.
Attention: Do not forget closing the buckles of the
leg loops! Danger of life by sliding out of the
harness.
Afterwards close hip and chest buckels, before closing
the main zipper to the hip. But mind that the top of the
zipper is being put into slider correctely. Pull the slider
steadily! Every effort with the slider means, that the
slider isnt weaved-in correctely! Non-observance may
break the zipper!
3. Pre-Flight Check
A regular check is important for comfortable and safe flying - it is as well important
as the check of your glider.
