Operating mode „Switch-off delay with resetting"

The function switches the relay when the input signal is activated (when the button „Set" is
pushed). When the input signal is deactivated, the relay is deactivated with a time delay.
The minimum/maximum switching time of 10 s.....30 min can be set by potentiometer R3
(rotating area 0....98%).
The deactivation delay is restarted when the input „SET" is activated during current deactivation
delay (at the top of the figure when pushing the button „Set").
Example for a signal process (configuration at the device, reset inputs wired); „SET" =
activation via input signal, „RELAY" = switching duration of the relay, „T1" = time of deactivation
delay (setting the rotating potentiometer R3):

If the button at the input „SET" is pushed, this causes the relay to toggle. Resetting always
cancels.
This function is activated in the delivery condition when the potentiometer is set to >=98% (the
status LED flashes). This basic setting is overwritten when transferring other functions by PC
software.
Example for a signal process („SET" = activation via input signal, „RELAY" = switching duration
of the relay, „RESET" = resetting via input „RESET"):

The function is selected when the „RESET" input remains unwired.
The minimum/maximum switching time of 10 s.....30 min can be set by potentiometer R3
(rotating area 0....98%).
If the button „Set" is pushed, the relay switches. When releasing, the deactivation delay T1
starts, followed by a 30-second warning phase T2 (repeated short deactivation before the
output is permanently deactivated).
Repeated pushing of the button during the function or warning phase leads to restarting (start
of the deactivation delay T1 with subsequent warning phase T2).

The software and the associated operation instructions are available free of charge
on our website www.conrad.com in the download area for the multifunction timer (item
no. 393903 or 393904). A matching interface cable is required for confirmation
(Conrad item no. 197339).
