OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Multifunction Timer
Item no. 39 39 03: „MFT1816-12 V"
Item no.: 39 39 04: „MFT1816-24 V"
Intended Use
The product has the following three functions if not configured via the PC software:
1. Switch-off delay with resetting
2. Power surge switch
3. Staircase light with warning and time reset
Additional delay, switching and logic functions can be set by PC software and the Voltcraft USB
programming adapter (Conrad item no. 197339). The PC software and associated operating
instructions for the multifunction timer can be downloaded free of charge from the download
area of www.conrad.com.
The switching time is set by setting potentiometer (at potentiometer setting >98%, the product
works as power surge switch (or selection of the mode selected by the PC software).
LEDs show the status, input and switching output condition.
The multifunction timer has a sequence output for extension by a second relay (for this, four
possible switching sequences can be selected by PC software).
Furthermore, the multifunction timer offers two optocoupler inputs („SET" and „RESET").
To meet the CE requirements or for hat-rail assembly (35 mm, EN 50022), the module must
be installed in the „Wieland WEB-99.800.6046.6" housing (Conrad item no. 524042). The PCB
may be shortened at a predetermined breaking point for this.
The data interface serves only parameter transmission. It must not be connected to a computer
during operation.
Observe all safety information and all other information in these operating instructions.
