– All persons handling, installing or maintaining this device have to be qualified
to do so and follow the instruction manual. When handling electrical
devices, the VDE regulations need to be applied. Especially VDE 0100,
VDE 0550/0551, VDE 0700, VDE 0711 and VDE 860. Should there be
any open questions on the installation, the devices connected, the functions,
the maintenance, the safety or any other point concerning this device, please
contact a specialist or a qualified person.
– If this device is used in public facilities, all individual and applicable rules
and regulations need to be followed. If this device is used in schools or other
teaching facilities and authorized and qualified person is required to monitor
the use.
– Before using the charger please make sure that it is not damaged and that
the cables and their insulation are intact. Make sure that all cables are not
subjected to mechanical strain, are not jammed or extremely bent.
– If this device or the connected cables should show any signs of damage,
do not touch the device whilst it is still attached to the mains. Disconnect the
device from the mains immediately.
– The device may not be subjected to damp surroundings, water drops (rain),
water or dust. Make sure that there are no other containers containing water
or other liquids in the near vicinity of the device.
– Do not place the device near a heat source such as a heater, radiator or air
duct. Do not subject the device to direct sunlight, dust, mechanical vibration
or force.
– To avoid heat congestion, do not cover the device with objects such as
magazines, table covers or curtains and do not place the device in an
enclosed area. Make sure that the area is well ventilated.
– If the product is brought in from the cold to a warm area (e.g., during
transport), condensation can occur within the unit. Let the device reach room
temperature, before you use it.
– When the device is not being used, disconnect it from the mains by pulling
the plug.
– Place all cables so that they do not become a tripping hazard.
Please also follow the additional information and safety instructions provided
in the individual chapters of this manual and also the safety instructions of the
devices that are connected to this unit.
