1. Make sure that the marker
programme knob, is aligned with the
on/off indicator.
2. Press and hold the start button. At the
same time turn the programme knob
clockwise until the symbol of the first
programme is aligned with the on/off in-
dicator.
3. Release the start button when the start
and the on/off indicators start to flash.

Turn the water hardness dial to the position
1 or 2.
• The end indicator flashes intermittent-
ly. The number of flashes shows the
level of the water softener. Example: 5
flashes + pause + 5 flashes = level 5.
4. To adjust the level of the water softener,
press the start button. Each time you
press the start button you go to the next
level.
5. To confirm the setting, turn the pro-
gramme knob until the marker
aligned with the on/off indicator.
