Other surround function
DANCE CLUB:
This function creates a dance club
atmosphere.
CONCERT HALL:
This function creates a concert hall
atmosphere.
STADIUM:
This function creates a stadium atmosphere.
• The above function does not appear in the
SURROUND FEATURES menu when
viewing a programme from the EXT
terminal which has been set to DIGITAL-
IN.
• The above function does not work
properly for the Dolby Surround encoded
programmes or mono sound programmes.

L/C/R:
Choose when using the TV speaker.
CENTRE:
Choose when using external front L/R
speakers and using the TV speaker as
the centre speaker.

Using the TV's menu
OFF:
Choose when using an external front
speaker. Sound is not emitted from the
TV speaker.
• The DOLBY SURROUND TV
SPEAKER and SOUND SETTING
menu SPEAKER settings are changed
when the TV SPEAKER setting is
changed.
SUBWOOFER:
INT.:
Choose to use the TV woofer for the
bass sound.
• Bass sound is not emitted from the
other speakers.
EXT.:
Choose when using an external
subwoofer. No sound is emitted from
the TV woofer.
• Bass sound is not emitted from the
other speakers.
OFF:
Choose when you do not want to emit
any sound from either the TV woofer
or external subwoofer.
• The bass sound is emitted from the
front L/R speakers.
• The DOLBY SURROUND
SUBWOOFER and SOUND
SETTING menu SUBWOOFER
settings are changed when the
SUBWOOFER setting is changed.
LEVEL:
You can control the effect level of the 3D-
PHONIC function as you like.
VOLUME (LEFT/CENTRE/RIGHT/
SUBWOOFER):
You can adjust the sound level of each
speaker individually. LEFT/RIGHT
denotes left and right of the front
speakers, CENTRE denotes the centre
speaker. SUBWOOFER adjusts the
volume of the TV woofer and external
subwoofer.
