12. Changing the batteries

a) Outdoor sensor

If the outdoor sensor does not work anymore, or if the battery symbol C7 is
displayed on the projection radio alarm clock, the batteries must be replaced.
Proceed as follows to replace the batteries of the outdoor sensor.
• First open the battery compartment lid at the rear of the outdoor sensor.
For this, push the lid away downwards and remove it.
• Remove the old battery from the battery compartment (E5).
• Then insert 2 new AA batteries.
Always ensure correct polarity. How to insert the batteries is marked in the battery
compartment by illustrations.
• Last, close the battery compartment lid again. Push it up until it latches.
• This completes replacement of the batteries of the outdoor sensor.

b) Projection radio alarm clock

If the projection radio alarm clock no longer works, or if no display lighting or
projection takes place anymore, lighting or projection is present anymore, the
batteries need to be replaced.
To replace the batteries of the projection radio alarm clock, proceed as follows.
• First open the battery compartment lid on the rear of the projection radio alarm clock.
For this, push the lid away up towards the arrow and remove it.
• Remove the old batteries from the battery compartment (B11).
• Then insert 3 new AA batteries.
Always ensure correct polarity. How to insert the batteries is marked in the battery
compartment by illustrations.
• Last, close the battery compartment lid again. Push it down until it latches.
• This completes replacement of the batteries of the projection radio alarm clock.
