Switching on the freezer for the first time
• Plug in the appliance.
• When the appliance is warm (internal temperature above 0°C),
two lines appear on the digital display (1).
• The red alarm LED (8) will start blinking and the acoustic
alarm will sound
• Press the reset button (7) to stop the acoustic alarm.
• The acoustic alarm stops while the red alarm LED continues
to blink.
• When the appliance reaches at least -12°C the red LED (8)
stops blinking.
• Food can now be placed in the freezer.
NOTE: Thanks to the efficient lid seal, the appliance lid will not
re-open easily immediately after closing.
Wait a few minutes before re-opening the lid.
Freezer compartment temperature adjustment
The appliance is normally factory set for optimum operation at a temperature of -18°C.
To adjust the internal temperature between -17°C and -24°C and set to ECONOMIC
(see paragraph "ECO function"), proceed as follows:
• Press one of the two temperature adjustment buttons once (2; 3).
• The digital display (1) will blink, showing the previous temperature setting.
• press button (3) as required to increase the temperature.
Every time the button is pressed, the value will change by 1°C. During this procedure the
temperature will flash on the digital display.
• Press button (2) as required to lower the temperature.
Every time the button is pressed, the value will change by 1°C. During this procedure the
temperature will flash on the digital display.
• Approximately 5 seconds after the button has been pressed for the last time, the set temperature is
stored, the digital display (1) stops blinking and the current internal temperature is shown on the
display.
• To check the temperature setting at any time, press either one of the temperature adjustment
buttons once. The set value will blink for 5 seconds. after which the internal temperature of the
freezer will be displayed again.
NOTE: In the event of a power failure, settings remain memorised.
The time required for the freezer to reach the set temperature depends on climatic conditions
and the temperature setting selected; in any case temperature adjustments are displayed with
some delay.
ECO function
We recommend using the ECO function when small amounts of food are stored, below the "e" level
indicated on the divider .
To set the ECO function:
• Press one of the two temperature adjustment buttons once (2; 3).
• The digital display (1) will blink, showing the previous temperature setting.
• Press the button (3) as required to increase the temperature until EC appears on the digital display.
NOTE: if the fast freeze function is selected when the ECO function is in operation, the latter
switches off automatically and remains deactivated while the fast freeze cycle is in progress.

1. Indicador digital de temperatura: indica la temperatura en el interior del congelador (fija) o la
temperatura ajustada (parpadeando).
2. Tecla para programar una temperatura más fría: si se pulsa, la temperatura ajustada cambia a
valores más fríos.
3. Tecla para programar una temperatura más caliente: si se pulsa, la temperatura ajustada
cambia a valores más calientes.
4. Tecla de congelación rápida: si se pulsa, se activa/desactiva la función de congelación rápida.
5. Indicador de congelación rápida (amarillo): si está encendido indica que se ha activado la función
de congelación rápida.
6. Indicador de bloqueo del teclado (amarillo): si está encendido indica que la función de bloqueo
del teclado está activado (consulte el apartado "Bloqueo del teclado").
7. Tecla de restablecimiento de las alarmas: desactiva las alarmas acústicas y las alarmas de corte
de energía (consulte el apartado "Alarmas").
8. Indicador de alarmas (rojo): cuando parpadea indica que hay un problema (consulte el apartado
"Alarmas").
