Water and electrical connection
To avoid the risk of fire or electric shock, do not damage the plug and/or power
•
supply cable.
Do not connect the appliance to multiple sockets, extension cords or portable
•
power supplies.
When the appliance is placed in the chosen location, make sure that the power
•
supply cable is not trapped or damaged and that there are no multiple sockets
or portable power supplies at the back of the appliance.
Power consumption
See appliance data plate.
Residual current circuit breaker (earth leakage circuit breaker)
We recommend the use of a residual current circuit breaker (earth leakage circuit
breaker) with trip current that complies with current standards.
WARNING: The appliance must not be powered by an external switching device,
such as a timer, or be connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off.
The appliance is not designed to be operated by an external timer or a separate
remote control system.
Make sure that the electrical data on the rating plate complies with the
•
electrical power supply.
The appliance operates on 220-240 VAC/50 Hz electrical current.

Make sure that the mains cable is not entangled under the appliance during
•
and after transport/movement, to prevent the mains cable from being cut
or damaged. If the appliance's power supply cable is damaged, do not
proceed with installation and contact customer service.
Make sure that the power source, socket and fuses conform to the data on the
•
rating plate.
Make sure that the power outlet is earthed and do not use multiple sockets
•
or extension cables.
NOTE (United Kingdom only): the appliance's power supply cable is fitted with
a 3-conductor plug (earthed) suitable for a standard 3-conductor socket (earthed).
Never cut or disassemble the third (earthed) conductor. After installation of the
appliance, the plug must be accessible.
