14. Troubleshooting

By purchasing the PA system, you have acquired a product which has been designed to the state of the art and is
operationally reliable.
Nevertheless, problems or faults may occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe here how to eliminate possible faults:
Please observe the safety instructions!
No function, the indicator POWER (4) does not light up:
• Is the device turned on?
• Is the mains plug inserted in the outlet?
• Is the fuse of the PA system defect?
• Check the mains socket. Is it supplied with power?
The indicator POWER (4) lights, but there is no sound.
• Is the volume control on the mixing desk set to minimum?
• Is the mixing desk connected correctly to the input?
• Is mute activated on the mixing desk?
Only one satellite loudspeaker is working.
• Is the corresponding connection cable from the mixing desk OK?
• Is the loudspeaker properly connected to SAT OUTPUT (6)?
• Is the balance or panorama control set improperly on the mixing desk?
• Is the connection cable from the audio source to the mixing desk correctly connected?
There is a humming sound.
• Are the signal cables from the mixing desk to the PA system OK?
• Are the signal cables from the audio source to the mixing desk OK?
All other repairs than the ones described above must be carried out by an authorised specialist
only.
