OPERATION

Angle 1 = 250 Angle 2 = 27 1/20AngIe 3 = 300

• To maximise the number of tool re sharpens start
sharpening at the lowest angle number possible.
• We estimate 24+ individual re-sharpens
primary re-grinds

• Fit the stone to the carriage so that the stone taper
matches the sticker.
• Slide carriage onto the base with wing 1 / 3 towards
the tool recess
• Note: Repeatthe same procedureto achieve
any of the 4 Angles
Before Sharpening
• Check the point of contact between diamond stone
and blade edge
• Goto sharpeningset-up - (Fig. 4a)
• Try next AngleSetting - (Fig. 4b)
Note: If your blade looks like B, evenat angle
setting 4, or if the blade is badly damaged. the tool will
need a primary re grind.
Primary Re-grind
• Remove material as shown
• Re establish bevel just below 250
Note: We recommendusing a powered
grinding wheel for this. It is possible to primary re-grind
using FTS and 100# Grit Extra Coarse Stone (accessory)
however, the wider the blade the more
