Radio operation
Transmission takes place on a frequency of 2.4 GHz. The transmitter
can only be used in conjunction with the RF RxT SW2.4LE-IND receiver.
Place the foot switch on level ground without any incline and within
radio range of the receiver.
Before commissioning the entire system, if you have not already done
so, perform a one-time pairing of the foot switch and receiver.
During normal operation (active mode), the foot switch transmits its
switch position to the end device via the receiver (relay outputs). To
prevent unintentional or faulty triggering, the switch and receiver have
safety shut-offs that put the receiver into a safe state (all outputs off).
Causes for shutdown include, for example, tilt >35°, radio interruption
and receiver restart.
To activate and switch on the foot switch: Press any control element.
Operational readiness is indicated by the Connect and Battery LEDs.
The foot switch transmits its pedal position every 20 ms. In the event of
a malfunction, it will switch off after a risk period of 120 ms.
If all switching elements are not activated, the foot switch will switch
off after 3 seconds.
Design of wireless range
The radio signal is attenuated on the way from the transmitter to the
receiver. In addition, the radio signal is influenced by obstacles. The
degree of attenuation depends on the material of the obstacle.
The following tables serve as a guide.
