14.5 CLEANING THE MOWER

15. DECK MULCHING KIT

The mower decks can be transformed into decks for mulching by fitting a special kit.
FITTING THE MULCHING KIT:
1- unfasten the central nut of the two rotors to remove the "collection" blade holder discs;
2- place the shaped sheet metal plate inside the body of the mower deck;
3- perforate the body using the shaped sheet metal plate as a template;
4- secure the shaped sheet metal plate using the special fixing elements supplied in the kit;
5- fit the mulching blade holder disc and tighten the central nut of the two rotors to a torque.
CAUTION: Be careful with the direction of the blade fins; this is connected to the direction of
rotation of the rotors.
