14. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

CAUTION: Before carrying out maintenance work, carefully read the instructions provided in
paragraph 3: SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
NOTE: Only use original spare parts!
You can clean and/or inspect the inside of the mower deck body without removing the decks from the machine.
To perform the above work, you must completely lift the equipment as shown below.

14.1 LIFTING 112 DECK INTO MAINTENANCE POSITION

WARNING: Make sure that the PTO is disengaged and that the blades are completely stationary.
1) Start up the machine and raise the attachment using the relative lever. Switch off the machine and remove the key.
2) Remove the split pins and the relative safety prods.
3) Lower the attachment using the special lever.
4) Insert the safety prod into the second hole on the mower deck couplings.
5) Completely lift the attachment using the special lever.
CAUTION: Do not use and do not move the machine when the lawnmower is in this position.
The above configuration should only be used for cleaning and/or inspection.

14.2 TOPPING UP OIL

Check the transmission oil level every 100 hours and if necessary, top up.
Replace the transmission oil every 350 hours. To change the angle drive oil, contact an authorized workshop.

IMPORTANT: For perfect functioning of the mower deck, the blades must be placed at 90° from
each other!
IMPORTANT: Make sure the screws are well tightened
CAUTION: the rotation of one blade will cause the other blades to rotate.
Never start the machine if the deck has been removed.
NOTE: To sharpen the blades correctly, follow these general rules:
1) maintain the original sharpening angle (23°)
2) do not apply pressure with the grinder to the same point to prevent the material from heating up and modifying
the properties of the material
3) do not remove excess material since this will obviously reduce the service life of the blades.
PERFECT CUTTING CAN ONLY BE ACHIEVED WITH WELL SHARPENED BLADES.
The frequency with which sharpening is performed depends significantly on the cutting conditions: if the ma-
chine is used in the presence of stones, sand and earth, sharpening will obviously have to be performed more
frequently.
