3. If the transmitter is not communicating with the receiver, try pairing the devices again – see section 7.4

4. If the dog does not respond to the stimulation pulses:
Check again that the battery in the receiver is not dead.
Test the functionality of the receiver using a test lamp (see point 5 of this chapter).
Check that you have selected the correct contact point length (section 7.5 Selecting contact points)
and ensured contact with the dog's skin by tightening the collar (section 7.6 Fitting the training collar).
If the dog's skin is dry, moisten it (section 7.6).
5. Checking the correct function of the stimulation pulse.
The correct function of the stimulation pulse command can be tested using a test glow lamp (Fig. 4/8, p. 3).
Make sure that the receiver is switched off.
Connect the test glow lamp leads to both contact points – loosen the contact points, insert the glow lamp
leads underneath them so that they are held firmly in place, and tighten the contact points again (see Fig.
4 on page 3).
Turn on the transmitter and receiver.
Press the stimulation pulse button. As the stimulation pulse level increases, the glow of the test filament
will increase

12. MAINTENANCE
Never use chemical cleaners, solvents, or volatile substances (thinners, gasoline, or other cleaners) to clean your
d-control device. Use a soft, damp cloth and, if necessary, a neutral cleaning agent.
The receiver (collar) is waterproof only if the seal is in good condition. To maintain waterproofing, we
recommend replacing the rubber seal under the receiver cover once a year. Also, make sure to properly
clean and align the seal after each battery replacement in the receiver and to tighten the screws properly.
However, only tighten them with reasonable force!
If you are not using the training set for a long time, remove the batteries from the device.
