PREPARING THE TRANSMITTER
6.1
Inserting (replacing) the battery in the transmitter
1. On the back, unscrew the battery compartment cover screw with a cross-shaped screwdriver and carefully
lift it off.
2. Insert a new CR2 3V battery with the correct polarity. The polarity is marked in the battery compartment
(Fig. 1/7 on page 2).
3. Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw with moderate force.
A low battery is indicated by a flashing red LED on the transmitter (Fig. 1/2 on page 2). When the battery is low,
the performance (radio range) of the transmitter will decrease. If the battery is dead, insert a new CR2 3V
lithium battery into the transmitter and follow the previous paragraph Inserting the battery into the transmitter.
Check that the transmitter is working properly.
TIP: The battery can be removed more easily using a small screwdriver, which you carefully insert under
its edge.
6.2
Turning the transmitter on/off

The transmitter is switched on when the green LED indicator flashes. The indicator goes out when the transmitter
is switched off.

PREPARING THE RECEIVER
7.1
Inserting (replacing) the battery in the receiver
1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws on the receiver and remove the cover from the top
(Fig. 2/6, p. 2).
2. Insert a CR2 3V lithium battery with the correct polarity. The polarity is marked on the battery holder (Fig. 3/7
on page 2).
NOTE: When inserting the battery for the first time, or if the battery has been removed for more than
a few tens of seconds, a beep will sound to confirm that the battery has been installed correctly.
If the battery is replaced quickly, the collar may not beep.
3. Check that the rubber seal is correctly seated in the receiver groove. If there is any dirt on the rubber seal,
clean it off.
4. Replace the receiver cover and tighten all 4 screws with moderate force.
7.2
Checking the battery status in the receiver
LED indicator lights on the side of the receiver (Fig. 2/3, p. 2)
are used to check the battery in the receiver.
If the battery is low or completely discharged, insert a new
CR2 3V lithium battery into the receiver. Then check that
the receiver is working properly.
