Insert ribbon
Press
Open the printer cover and press the
printhead release lever to open the
printhead mechanism.
Turn the ribbon take-up spindle
firmly 3–5 times clockwise until the
ribbon is smooth and tight.
Replace ribbon
Cut the ribbon between the ribbon
guide rail and the ribbon take-up
spindle.
QUICKSTART GUIDE
1.
Place the ribbon and take-up roll
onto the ribbon supply spindle and
ribbon take-up spindle. Note: Make
sure that the ribbon and take-up roll
are centered on the spindles.
4.
Close the printhead mechanism and
make sure the latches are properly
locked.
Press
1.
Press the printhead release lever
to open the printhead mechanism.
Remove the used ribbon from the
ribbon take-up spindle.
2.
Feed the ribbon through the ribbon
sensor slot and the printhead.
Attach it to the take-up roll with a
piece of tape. Note: Keep the ribbon
flat and free of folds.

Place the new ribbon and take-up
roll onto the ribbon supply spindle
and ribbon take-up spindle. Note:
Make sure that the ribbon and take-
up roll are centered on the spindles.
