Battery Charging
1. Power on Nova.
2. Connect USB cable into In-Car charger.
3. Plug Charger into 12V cigarette lighter.
4. Connect the charger to the Nova.
During charging, Red indicator (4) will be
steady on, When fully charged, indicator will
be switch off.
Power On/Off
Power On :
Press Answer (6) for 3 seconds, Nova will
be turn on, the blue status indicator fl ashes
and a voice say „Ready". Now Nova will
auto connect the last paired phone. If get
connection, Nova say „Connected to phone". If
phone not available say „No phone detected".
Power Off :
Press Answer (6) for 3 seconds until Nova
say „Powering down".

Pairing procedure
From Nova Off, when you fi rst connect with
Nova
Step 1:
Press and hold ANSWER key (6) for 5 seconds,
until Power indictor (Red) (2) and Status
indicator (Blue) (3) fl ash simultaneously.
Nova announces „activate phone's bluetooth
in search for bluetooth devices and select
Nova and enter pin code 0000". This means the
kit is now ready to pair.
Step 2:
Access your phine`s Bluetooth menu, Turn
on phone`s Bluetooth and search the device.
(Please refer to phone user manual to activate
and in search for bluetooth device.)
Step 3:
Select Nova.
Step 4:
Enter pin code „0000" to associate „Pair" and
connect the Nova. Once you have entered the
pin code, your phone is paired for Nova.
The kit announces „ Pairing successful to
phone „ & „connected to Phone".
Step 5 :
TTS announces „Phone Book Download",
„Please wait." When phone book download
complete, TTS announce „Phone book
download completed"
Remark :
Phone book download will be auto after
pairing. It needs sometimes to complete.
While downloading, TTS announces every 30
seconds „please wait." until download fully
completed.
Keys operation
• Disconnect (connecting with phone)
Press ANSWER key (6) for 2 seconds. TTS
announce „Phone disconnected."
• Connect last paired phone ( no phone
connected)
Press Answer key (6) once to connect last
paired phone.
• Answer incoming calls (Ringing)
Press ANSWER key (6) once.
• Reject and hang up a call (talking)
During talking, press ANSWER key (6) to
hang up the call. TTS announces
„end of call"
• Volume up and down
Press (9) to increase volume. TTS
announce volume up. Press (8) to
decrease volume. TTS announce Volume
down Volume have 15 levels. When volume
reach 15, TTS announce „Maximum volume"
At lowest volume,TTS announce „Minimum
volume."
• Last Number redial.
Double click ANSWER key (6)
• Call waiting
In conversation with 1st call, a new 2nd call
comes in. Press and hold ANSWER (6) for
2 seconds to activate 2nd call, keep 1st call
waiting. Press and ANSWER 2 (6) seconds to
switch to 1st call, keeps 2nd call.
• Voice Dialing (if phones support)
Press ANSWER (6) once to activate voice
dialing. For those conventional phones, you
need to pre-record voice tag to activate
voice dialing. For more details about voice
dialing, please refer to phone user manual.
Phone Book Download
Remark: Please refer for Pairing Procedure.
1. Once your phone connects wiht Nova,
phone contacts will be automatically
downloaded to BT1900.
2. When downloading, TTS announce „Phone
book downloading, please wait"
3. TTS announce every 30 seconds „Please
wait"
4. When download completed, TTS announce
„phone book download completed"
5. Nova can store up to 1000 phone contacts.
6. Each time when another new phone get
paired with Nova, this phone`s phone
contacts will be downloaded. These new
phone contacts will overwrite the previous
phone contacts downloaded.
Remarks:
Some phones are not support phone
download. TTS announces „Phone book
automatic transfer not support by phone,
loading phone book not successful.
Update Phone Book
You can update connected phone`s contacts
anytime.
1. Once your phone connect with Nova press
and hold (9) for 2 seconds to enter SETUP
Menu.
2. TTS announce „Update phonebook. Press
volume down button to confi rm & Answer
button to exit.
3. Press (8) to activate phone book update.
4. During download, TTS announce „please
wait" every 30 seconds.
5. When download completed, TTS announce"
Update phonebook compleded"

Nova supports 5 languages.
