3.3 Commissioning the hob

• Only put the appliance into operation if it is in perfect
condition and has been properly installed by a suitably
qualified electrician!
• Proceed as described under "Operation, Setting and Use".
Odour and fume formation during first operation
When using the hob for the first time, there may be an
odour and also a slight vapour.
This is normal and harmless; however, in this case do not
heat any food on the appliance yet and keep the room
well ventilated until these have evaporated (max. 30 min.).
You can then use the appliance as normal.
