Servicing the sensors

For the reliability of the sensor, the following points
have to be observed:
Always place the run-dry sensor (1) in upright
position with the float ring pointing down and the
cable pointing up; it is in this way only that it operates
correctly.
Protect the sensors against dirt and salt deposits;
for this reason, clean them in regular intervals (with
an old toothbrush, for example) as scratching will
damage the sensor (2).
Clean the sensor every 6 months at a minimum. Use
vinegar to remove calcareous algae or lime (2).
Avoid air bubbles around the sensors (3).
Install sensors pointing down straight; never fit them
at an angle (4).
Check the function of the sensors in regular intervals:
After lifting or lowering the float, the switched socket
outlet should shut down, and an alarm should to be
audible. For reset, please refer to the chapter titled
"Function test".

Entretien des capteurs

Pour garantir un bon fonctionnement des capteurs,
veuillez observer les points suivants :
Pour un fonctionnement précis, positionnez toujours
le capteur contre la marche à sec (1) de manière
bien verticale, flotteur vers le bas et câble vers le
haut.
Protégez les capteurs des salissures et des
incrustations salines, nettoyez régulièrement et
avec précaution (par ex. brosse à dent usagée), un
grattage endommages les capteurs (2).
Intervalles de nettoyage 6 mois maxi. Les algues
calcaires ou les incrustations calciques se nettoient
avec du vinaigre (2).
Evitez la présence de diffuseurs d'air près des
capteurs (3).
Disposez toujours les capteurs verticalement, jamais
de manière inclinée (4).
Contrôlez régulièrement les fonctions des capteurs
: remontez ou abaissez les flotteurs des capteurs,
la prise commandée est alors hors service avec un
signal sonore audible. Pour le Reset, voir «Test des
