Save patient data
This function is only available if a USB key is connected.
Click the Save Data button on the main screen (see page 6).
The data are automatically saved on the computer's hard drive and a confirmation message is
displayed.
This function lets you generate patient reports later (see page 11).
If there is no data on the USB key, a message is displayed:
Format the USB key
Click the Format Storage Key button on the main screen (see page 6).
A confirmation message is displayed.
Click OK to confirm. All patient data on the USB key
will be deleted but will still be available on your
hard drive if they have been backed up on the
hard drive (see save patient data, page 9).
Click Cancel to return to the main screen and
cancel the USB key formatting. Patient data will be
kept.
If OK.
The USB keys used with knee splints and shoulder
splints are different.
Select
appliance.
The patient identification window is displayed. Click
OK to confirm the new patient and identify the
patient on the USB key label.
The key is ready to be used with the selected
mobilisation splint, then return to the main screen.
Note: if no name is entered, the key will be ready to
be used with the selected mobilisation splint, the
data will be saved but there will be no name linked
to the data.
Some characters are not compatible with the hand controller, this message may be displayed.
