Use
To launch the KINETEC DATA CAPTURE™software, click the shortcut on the Windows desktop or
in the Quick Launch area or in the Start menu, Programs, Kinetec then click the KINETEC DATA
CAPTURE™ icon.
With a USB key connected to the computer

Note: There is no need to double click to access a function, use a single click.

Connect the USB key then start the KINETEC DATA
CAPTURE™ Software.
Click OK to confirm the patient; the patient
identification screen disappears and their name is
displayed in the Patient box.
Note:
When using a USB key for the first time, there is no
name.
Click Modify to enter it then click OK; the patient
identification screen disappears and their name is
displayed in the Patient box.
Disconnect the hand controller from your splint.
 Patient name display.
 Generate patient report (see page 10)
 Program management (see page 7)
 Daily program management
 Save data (see page 9)
 Format the USB key (see page 9)
 Quit the software and return to Windows
 Menu bar: all the software functions are
also available in the menu bar, and the
user's guide is available in the "?" menu.
