Troubleshooting
Description of the problem
Slow pumping
The device is turned on but is not pumping
No possibility of adjusting the pressure ''+'' or
''-''
Normal pump operation, display shows 0 psi
The battery charge level is different when idle
than when pumping
The device connected to the charger is not
charging
The car does not start despite being
connected

1. Connect the clamps with the EC5 connector to the PowerBoost Air.
2. Connect the clamps to the battery according to polarity.
3. Check that the green LED on the intelligent controller lights up.
4. Start the engine.
5. Disconnect the clamps from the battery.
IMPORTANT: To ensure optimal operation of the device, make sure the charge level is
at least 50% (2 battery segments).
Solution
● Check if the device is charged.
● Check if the pump hose is installed correctly.
● Check whether the item being inflated is tight.
● Check whether the object being inflated is not compressed.
● Check the device's charge level.
● Check that the pressure in the object to be pumped is not higher than the
target value set on the device.
● Check if the correct pumping mode is selected.
● If you still cannot change the parameter, use advanced mode with extreme
caution.
● Items requiring low pressure, such as balloons or inflatable toys, may
operate below 2 psi, which is within the measurement error limit.
● The battery charge level is read from the cell voltage. While the device is
operating, the cell voltage drops, which may cause a change in the
displayed charge level. This condition is completely normal and should not
cause any concern.
● Check whether the charger and cable used are compatible with the device
and whether they have sufficient power limit to charge it.
● Check whether the clamps are correctly and securely connected.
● Make sure the battery level is at least 50%.
● Check if the battery voltage is 12V.
● Check that the green light on the smart controller is on. If not, try
reconnecting the clamps.
● Check the engine or battery for damage.
