Before using medical devices, read the instructions for use carefully!
Application
RAUMEDIC DRILL KITs (cranial drills) are
®
neurosurgical instruments that serve to intro-
duce a bore into the skull with the help of an
appropriate drilling machine in order to subse-
quently enable secure fixation of the RAUME-
DIC BOLT KITs in the cranial vault.
®
RAUMEDIC BOLT KITs are used in the appli-
®
cation of catheters in neurosurgical areas. The
system secures the catheter in position and
acts as a seal against the outside world.

ned expert staff (medical specialists)!
• This device must be used in accordance with
accepted medical practice under aseptic con-
ditions!
• Patients and/or their relatives must be infor-
med of the potential risks in the application
of RAUMEDIC BOLT KITs / DRILL KITs prior

to use.
• Re-sterilisation of the RAUMEDIC
KITs / DRILL KITs or parts thereof is not per-
mitted.
• Application after the expiry date is not per-
mitted.
• Before using the medical devices, check that
all set components are present and undama-
ged and that the sterile packaging is intact.
No procedure should be undertaken using
the component set, if there is any evidence of
damage or defects.
• The manufacturer must be informed imme-
diately.
