7. Picture geometry Feed a grid test pattern into the EURO-AV socket.
Activate the Service Mode:
– Press button h and confirm with the G button.
– With the buttons CD select "SPECIAL FUNCTIONS"
and confirm with the G button.
– With the buttons CD select "Service" and confirm with
the G button.
– With the buttons CD select "Service Code" and enter
the code number 8 5 0 0.
– With the buttons CD select "GEOMETRIE" and confirm
with the G button.
– Vertical slope With the buttons CD select "Vertical Slope".

Activate the Service Mode:

– With the buttons CD select "Service Code" and enter
the code number 8 5 0 0.
– With the CD buttons select "ATK off".
– Press the G buttons as often as is needed to activate
"ATK off – center".

Adjustment Procedure
With the F E buttons adjust the centre line of the test
pattern so that it is just still visible.
With the F E buttons position the centre line of the test
pattern so that it is in the middle of the screen.
With the F E buttons adjust the picture for optimum
vertical amplitude.
With the F E buttons adjust the horizontal lines so that
they are spaced equidistantly.
With the F E buttons adjust the horizontal centre position
of the picture.
Terminate the Service Mode:
– Press button h.
– With the buttons CD select "End".
– With the F E buttons select "with mem.", confirm with
the G button and finally press button "TXT".
With the CD buttons select "OSD Horizontal".
With the F E buttons position the menu horizontally in the
middle of the picture.
With the CD buttons select "OSD Vertical".
With the F E buttons position the menu vertically in the
middle of the picture.
Terminate the Service Mode:
– With the buttons CD select "End".
– With the F E buttons select "with mem.", confirm with
the G button and finally press button "TXT".
Press the "REC " button for more than 2 seconds.
Press the G button as often as is needed to activate
"ATK off – off".
Terminate the Service Mode:
– With the buttons CD select "End".
– With the F E buttons select "with mem.", confirm with
the G button and finally press button "TXT".
