Refill the paste burner
- Use the lid to extinguish the flame and let the paste burner cool down.
- Remove the paste burner from the warmer and open it (screw closure).
- Refill the empty aluminium cup with safety fuel paste (max. 2/3). Alternatively, place a new aluminium cup
with fuel paste into the lower section and tear open the lid.
- Close the burner (screw closure).
- Tip: For a better burning behaviour and especially after long periods of non-use, remove any remaining old
fuel paste from the aluminium cup and dispose of it before refilling the burner.
Cleaning
- Extinguish the burner by closing the holes and placing the lid on the burner.
- Before cleaning, assure that the burner has extinguished completely and allow all parts to cool down.
- Allow the fondue pot to cool down completely before cleaning, it should not be exposed to a temperature
shock.
- Clean the fondue pot with warm water and a mild detergent. In case of stubborn residues, let them soak
in cold water. Afterwards the fondue pot can be cleaned effortlessly with warm water and a mild detergent.
The bottom is not glazed. Allow the fondue pot to dry completely upside down.
- Clean the frame of the warmer as well as the forks with warm water and a mild detergent. Dry them off
completely when finished.
- Wipe the base plate with a soft cloth only, slightly damp, if necessary.
- Do not submerge fondue pot, the base plate and the wooden handles of the fondue forks in water. Do not
clean these parts in the dishwasher.
- Clean the paste burner after each use with warm water and a mild detergent. If necessary, use a commercially
available cleaning agent for stainless steel products in accordance with the instructions for use given there.
Residues of dirt may impair the adjustability of the burner.
- Avoid using abrasive sponges, sharp or pointed objects, benzine, solvents, scrubbing brushes or abrasive
cleaning agents.
- Make sure that all parts are completely dry before using them again or storing them.
