Cleaning
- Extinguish the burner by closing the holes and placing the lid on the burner.
- Before cleaning, assure that the burner has extinguished completely and allow all parts to cool down.
- Do not pour cooled oil/grease into the drain. We recommend disposing of it in the regular household waste
instead.
- We recommend cleaning the paste burner after each use with water and a mild detergent or the SPRING
CLEANER. Residues of dirt may impair the adjustability of the burner.
- Clean the splashguard, the warmer with coaster as well as the forks with warm water and a mild detergent.
Alternatively, these parts can also be cleaned in the dishwasher. In the case of stubborn dirt, let the parts
soak and use our SPRING CLEANER. Do not use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Clean the fondue pot by hand with warm water and a mild detergent. Do not clean it in the dishwasher. In
case of stubborn residues, you can soak the pot and use our SPRING COPPER CLEANER to clean the copper
surface. Note the instructions for use on our CLEANERS.
- Copper forms a patina as it naturally oxidizes to copper oxide. You can remove this discoloration with our
SPRING COPPER CLEANER.
- Avoid using abrasive sponges, sharp or pointed objects, benzine, solvents, scrubbing brushes or abrasive
cleaning agents.
- Make sure that all parts are completely dry before using the fondue set again or storing it.
