7. Commissioning and configuration

a) First commissioning
• Insert 2 micro batteries (AAA) into the battery holder (D)
Pay attention to the polarity indicated.
• The "FHT80TF-2" indicates its current operating mode
by a blinking sequence of the indicator LED (A). This is
followed by a synchronisation period of approx. one
minute, during which the indicator LED will flash once
every second.

b) Programming the operating mode

In the pre-set mode, the "FHT80TF-2" only monitors the internal contact. If external contacts also
are to be monitored or if only external contacts are to be monitored, the programming must be
adjusted accordingly.
The flashing sequence during commissioning indicates the current operating status.
• Flashing thrice: Only the internal contact is monitored
• Flashing four times: Only external contacts are monitored
• Flashing five times: Internal and external contacts are monitored
