7 - ELECTRONIC FUNCTIONS
The tool is equipped with electronic functions for easy oper-
ation:
7.1 - CONSTANT SPEED UNDER LOAD
Electronic speed control to maintain a constant speed even
under load, ensuring a precise finish.
7.2 - SOFT START
The soft start feature minimizes start-up shock and allows the
trimmer to accelerate gradually and smoothly.
7.3 - ANTI RESTART FUNCTION
The tool is equipped with an accidental startup prevention fea-
ture when plugged in with the switch in the I (on) position. To
use the tool, press the O (off) side of the switch to reset.
8 - SPEED ADJUSTING DIAL
Do not adjust the speed dial while the tool is in operation.
Doing so may cause kickback, potentially bringing the cutting
tool into contact with the operator. This may result in serious
If the trimmer is operated continuously at low speed for an
extended period, the motor can become overloaded and
overheat, potentially leading to malfunction.
The speed adjustment dial is designed to rotate only between
settings 1 and 6. Forcing it beyond this range may damage the
speed control function.
--- --- ---
The trimmer speed can be adjusted by turning the speed ad-
justment dial from 1 to 6 (FIG. 2).
Higher rotational speed is achieved by turning the dial toward
6, while lower speed is obtained by turning it toward 1.
The speed can be adjusted to suit the material and bit diame-
ter, ensuring optimal performance during operation.
The table below shows the approximate rotational speed that
corresponds to each dial setting.

ASSEMBLY
Ensure that the trimmer is switched off and disconnected
from the power supply before carrying out any maintenance or
adjustments on the tool.
9 - INSTALLING OR REMOVING
TRIMMER BIT
Do not tighten the collet nut without a bit inserted, as this can
damage the collet.
Use only the wrenches supplied with the tool.
--- --- ---
There are two ways to install the trimmer bit:
9.1 - WITH TWO WRENCHES (FIG. 3)
Insert the trimmer bit into the collet. Tighten the collet nut se-
curely with one wrench while holding the shaft with the other
wrench.
9.2 - WITH ONE WRENCH (FIG. 4)
Insert the trimmer bit into the collet. Tighten the collet securely
with the wrench while pressing the shaft lock button.
To remove the trimmer bit, follow the installation procedure in
reverse.
10 - CHANGING THE COLLET
Always use the correctly sized of collet for the trimmer bit
being used.
--- --- ---
Loosen and remove the collet nut (FIG. 5). Remove the installed
collet, insert the desired one, and then reinstall the collet nut.
OPERATION
Always hold the trimmer firmly by the insulated handles.
Do not touch the metal parts.
11 - TRIMMER BASE
Always install the dust extraction nozzle before using the
trimmer with the trimmer base (FIG. 6).
--- --- ---
•
Place the trimmer onto the base making sure the small pin
on the base aligns with the slot on the trimmer.
•
Set the trimmer base on the workpiece to be cut without
the bit making any contact.
