The silicone respirator is a twin filter half-mask respirator which has resistant filter
connectors and a form-fitting shape which gives optimum vision.
The DMS gives great comfort and a great face fit since it is made of silicone.
The DMS is available in the following sizes:

I. WARNING MISUSE MAY RESULT IN SICKNESS OR DEATH
1. This respirator does not supply oxygen (O ). Use in adequately ventilated areas without oxygen

deficiency and that do not contain explosive atmosheres.
2. The proposer type of filter must be chosen according to concentration and type of contaminant
in each case. Do not use in environment where the concentration value of the contaminant is
immediately dangerous to life of health (IDLH).
3. Two filters must be placed on each respirator.
4. Must no be used for protection against carbon monoxide under any circumstances.
5. The respirator must not be modified or altered.
6. This respirator with filters cannot be used in containers, wells, sewers or closed spaces with no
ventilation.
7. Do no use beards or any other elements on the user's face which might prevent the facefit.
8. Leave the working area in case of respirator being damaged, breathing difficulty and/or
dizziness of nausea, or filters unentionally detachment.
9. Caution must be given in oxygen enriched atmospheres (ignition) and prohibit to enter explosive
atmospheres (eg through solvents).
II. BEFORE USE
1. Make sure the respirator has all its parts: harness and straps, inhalation and exhalation valves.
2. Make sure the respirator is in perfect conditions, with no signs of dirt, breakage, cracks, bumps
in any of its components. Should this be the case, the respirator must be disposed off.
3. Make sure that the chosen filter is the proper one for the intended use.
4. Make sure two units of the same type of filter are available for each respirator.
III. ASSEMBLING INSTRUCTIONS
Match the plastic filter connector with the filter-holder on the respirator (Fig. 1)
Press and turn the filter all the way clockwise (Fig. 2).
Repeat procedure for the second filter.
IV. INSTRUCTIONS FOR DONNING AND FITTING
The DMS respirators have two types of suspensions. The first one is a standard fixed
suspension and the second one is a ascending suspension for users who wear a hard hat or any
other element which might not allow to put the respirator in resting position.
To use the standard fixed suspension, place the straps beneath locking tabs on front part of
respirator (Fig. 3). For drop down suspension place the straps over locking tabs (Fig. 4).

1. Adjust the size of the plastic head cradle as necessary to fit comfortably on your head.
2. Using one hand, place the face piece over the mouth and nose. With the other hand, place the
head cradle on your head and pull the end of the top straps so as to fix the face piece on its
position.
3. Grasp the bottom elastic straps, place them at the back of the neck and hook them together.
(Fig. 6). Adjust the tension by pulling the ends of the straps until reaching a comfortable and
safe fit. The tension of the straps can be reduced by pushing out on back side of buckles.
Donning (Ascending suspension)
1. Adjust the size of the plastic head cradle as necessary so as to fit comfortably on your head.
2. Place the plastic head cradle over your head with the arrow that is on the figure of a face
pointing forward.
3. Hold the ends of the bottom elastic straps with one hand and with the other hand slide the
face-piece up on to your face covering your mouth and nose. (Fig. 5).
4. Grasp the ends of the straps place them at the back of the neck and hook them together.
(Fig. 6). Adjust strap tension by pulling straps ends until a secure and comfortable fit is
obtained. Strap tension may be decreased by pushing out on back side of buckles
V. FACEFIT CHECK HALF MASK RESPIRATOR

Cover with your hand the exhalation valve, exhale gently to get overpressure and make sure no air
leaks are detected. (Fig. 7).
Negative pressure facefit check
• When using with filters FA1, FAE1, FABEK1, FA2P3, FAE1P3, FABEK1P3, place hands to
cover face of cartridge and inhale (Fig. 8). In case of no leakage, you will feel that the respirator
is fitted to the face.
• When using with filters FRAP3C, press or squeeze filter covers with both hands and inhale
(Fig. 9). In case of no leakage, you will feel that the respirator is fitted to the face.
• When using with filters FRAP3, place the thumbs onto the center position of the filters and inhale
(Fig. 10). In case of no leakage, you will fell the respirator is fitted to the face.
• If you detect leakage in some of the tests, the respirator has not been fitted to the face properly.
If that be the case, reposition respirator on face again, adjusting the elastic straps again and repeat
the seal checks.
• If you cannot achieve a proper facefit, do not enter contaminated area.
• Consult with an occupational Safety Expert.
• To remove respirator, loosen up elastic strap, unbuckle bottom straps and remove harness from
the head.
VI. STORAGE
Respirator must be stored without the filters in a hermeticall and sealed bag at room temperature
in a dry place away from contaminants.
Do not expose respirator to heat over 50°C and do not expose to direct sunlight.
VII. CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
• Remove filters before cleaning respirator
• Clean respirator with a wet cloth and immerse it in warm water solution which must not exceed
50°C using a neutral detergent if necessary .
• Rinse with warm water and air dry in a contaminant free environment.
DO NOT CLEAN WITH SOLVENTS, STRONG DETERGENTS OR PETROLEUM BASED
PRODUCTS.
VIII. MAINTENANCE
In order to keep respirator in the best conditions, do the following after each use:
• Clean and store completely dry in a hermetically sealed bag without filters.
• Check inhalation and exhalation valves and keep them completely clean without any distortions.
• Make sure the elasticity of the straps does not decrease.
• Make sure respirator is in perfect conditions with no signs of dirt, tearing, crack or dents in any its
components.
• If any of its pieces show any distortions the respirator must be replaced and/or disposed off.
IX. EXPIRATION
Respirators DMS are manufactured with high quality materials. However, respirator parts such as
valves, harness, straps or any part that needs to be changed, must be replaced the moment they
show any alteration or distortion .
Shell life : 5 years after production (see the outside packaging pictogram).
X. USE LIMITATIONS
The use of this respirator must be in compliance with current legislation, norms about respiratory
protection and norms from various official bodies.
Do not use for evacuation purposes.
Do not use this mask when the concentration of contaminant is unknown.
Leave the area immediately when you smell contaminants through the mouth or nose, or if you
experience irritation.
XI. STANDARD(S) / CONFORMITY
The products are manufactured under a quality system which has been registered and meets the
requirements of ISO 9001: 2015.
The models referred to in this specification are designed to accommodate the basic safety require-
ments as laid down in Regulation (EU) 2016/425 for Personal Protective Equipment Annex II and
standard EN 140 : 1998.

1. Cet équipement ne fournit pas d'oxygène (O
sans carence en oxygène et ne contenant pas d'atmosphères explosives.
2. Le type de filtre proposé doit être choisi en fonction de la concentration et du type de
contaminant dans chaque cas. Ne pas utiliser dans un environnement où la valeur de
concentration du contaminant est immédiatement dangereuse pour la santé (IDLH).
3. Deux filtres doivent être placés sur chaque respirateur.
4. Ne doit en aucun cas être utilisé pour la protection contre le monoxyde de carbone.
5. Le demi-masque ne doit pas être modifié ou altéré.
6. Ce demi-masque avec filtres ne peut pas être utilisé dans des conteneurs, des puits, des
égouts ou des espaces fermés sans ventilation.
7. Ne portez pas de barbe ou tout autre élément sur le visage de l'utilisateur qui pourrait
empêcher l'ajustement du visage.
8. Quittez la zone de travail en cas d'endommagement du demi-masque, de difficultés
respiratoires et/ou de vertiges de nausées, ou du détachement involontaire d'un filtre.
9. Des précautions doivent être prises dans les atmosphères enrichies en oxygène (inflammation)
et interdire l'entrée dans les atmosphères explosives (par exemple à travers des solvants).
II. AVANT UTILISATION
1. Assurez-vous que le respirateur dispose de toutes ses pièces : harnais et sangles, valves
d'inspiration et d'expiration.
2. Assurez-vous que le respirateur est en parfait état, sans aucun signe de saleté, de bris, de
fissures, de bosse sur aucun de ses composants. Si tel est le cas, le respirateur doit être jeté.
3. Assurez-vous que le filtre choisi est le bon pour l'utilisation prévue.
4. Assurez-vous que deux unités du même type de filtre sont disponibles pour chaque
respirateur
III. INSTRUCTIONS DE MONTAGE
Faites correspondre le connecteur du filtre en plastique avec le porte-filtre sur le respirateur (Fig. 1)
Appuyez et tournez le filtre à fond dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre (Fig. 2).
Répétez la procédure pour le deuxième filtre.
IV. INSTRUCTIONS POUR LA MISE EN PLACE
Les demi-masques DMS ont deux types de suspensions. Le premier est une suspension standard
fixe et la seconde est une suspension ascendante pour les utilisateurs qui portent un casque ou tout
autre autre élément qui pourrait ne pas permettre de mettre le respirateur en position de repos.
Pour utiliser la suspension standard fixe, placez les sangles sous les languettes de verrouillage sur
la partie avant de respirateur (Fig. 3). Pour une suspension descendante, placez les sangles sur les
languettes de verrouillage (Fig.4).

1. Ajustez la taille du support de tête en plastique si nécessaire pour qu'il s'adapte confortablement
à votre tête.
2. D'une main, placez la pièce faciale sur la bouche et le nez. Avec l'autre main, placez le
repose-tête sur votre tête et tirez sur l'extrémité des sangles supérieures de manière à fixer
la pièce faciale sur sa position.
3. Saisissez les sangles élastiques inférieures, placez-les à l'arrière du cou et accrochez-les
ensemble.(Fig. 6). Ajustez la tension en tirant sur les extrémités des sangles jusqu'à atteindre une
position confortable et un ajustement sûr. La tension des sangles peut être réduite en
poussant à l'arrière des boucles.
Mise en place (Suspension ascendante)
1. Ajustez la taille du support de tête en plastique si nécessaire afin qu'il s'adapte confortablement
à votre tête.
2. Placez le support de tête en plastique sur votre tête avec la flèche qui se trouve sur le croquis
d'un visage pointant vers l'avant.
3. Tenez les extrémités des sangles élastiques inférieures d'une main et de l'autre, faites glisser le
masque sur votre visage en couvrant votre bouche et votre nez. (Fig. 5).
4. Saisissez les extrémités des sangles, placez-les à l'arrière du cou et accrochez-les ensemble.
(Fig. 6). Ajustez la tension de la sangle en tirant sur les extrémités des sangles jusqu'à ce
qu'un ajustement sûr et confortable soit obtenu. La tension de la sangle peut être diminuée en
