Installation Instructions
Overview
The HW-RPM-4R provides switching control for up to four
non-dim or motor loads. Each of the four loads is supplied by
its own input and can be a maximum of 16 Amps (1/3 HP
@120—240V). The installation requires seven additional ter-
minal blocks to be mounted onto the DIN rail assembly of a
HWl-PNL-8 or HWl-PNL-5 panel. It is recommended to
install HW-RPM-4R modules at the lowest level possible as
shown in Figure I
During normal operation modules will click periodi-
cally with no system activity.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Turn power off to all feeds to the panel.
Danger - This panel may be fed by multiple circuits
Locate and lock each supply breaker in the off posi-
tion before proceeding
2. Locate the nearest end stop on the DIN rail that
holds the terminal blocks. Relocate end stops to allow
more space (see Figure 2). End stops may be relocated
by levering them off the DIN rail with a flat head screw-
driver.

6. Use the terminal blocks to build four groups of red-
black-gray blocks as shown in Figure 2. Attach mark-
ers on each of the grouped terminal blocks, corre-
sponding to the numbers on the markers removed in
Step 4
Install the two position
groups of black and red terminal blocks.
8. Install the grouped blocks on the DIN rail and slide
the end stop to secure the blocks as shown in Figure 2
9. Connect the load and line
terminal blocks as shown in Figure 3. Do not overtight-
en screws, torque to 3.5 to 5 in-lbs.

not exceed 16A. If motor loads are present, make sure
not to leave ON beyond the manufacturer's specified
time or past the time they need to complete their task.
Danger - Only turn on input feed circuit breakers
when load wiring is complete and it is safe to have
power applied
