• Remove the worn carbon brushes.
• Remove any carbon dust with compressed air.
• Insert
new carbon brushes. The carbon brushes should slide
easily into the brush holders.
• Replace the carbon brush covers (2).
After replacing the carbon brushes, start the shears without
load and wait a while until the brushes adjust to the motor
commutator. The replacement of carbon brushes should only
be carried out by a qualified person using original parts.
Any faults should be repaired by an authorised manufacturer's
service centre.
