5.1. Automatictime setting using the DCF signal
• Onc e youhave removed t hecontact breaker, anacoustic s ignal sounds a ndthe
alarm clockautomatically starts searching fora DCF signalDuring thesearch, the
radio icon (2)will flash
• After5 10minutes ( depending onhowquickly t heradiosignal i sreceived), the
clock sets itself to the correct time
• When thewireless s ignal i s received, thedate, t ime,weekday andtemperature are
automaticall y setandtheradioicon(2)isdisplayed
• f theclockisunable to receive a timesignal w irelessly, thetime/weekday/
e temperatur aredisplayed a ndtheradioicon (2)isnotvisibleInthiscase, you
can setthe time manually

• Press and hold the Down (10) buttonfor approx 3 seconds to stopthe searchfor
theDCF signalTheradioicon(2)goes outandyoucan setthetimemanually
• Pres s andholdtheSET button (9) forapprox3 seconds to startmanually s etting
the dateJtime
• Set t hefolowinginformation i ntheorderlisted'
Toselectthe individualvalues,press the UP(8) buttonor the Down (10) button
andconfirm each selection b ypressing theSET button(9)

• After settingthe date, you will be able to selectthe languagein which the weekday

5.3.Settingthe alarm

• Press the ALI (7) button Thebell iconappears
• Press the ALI (7) buttonfor approx 3 seconds until the hour digitsstart flashing
you can setthe hourswith the UP (8) and DOWN (10) buttons
• Press the SET(9) button untilthe minutesdigits start flashing Youcan setthe
minuteswith the UP (8) andDOWN (10) buttons
• Press the SET(9) buttonto savethe setalarmtime
Setting Alarm 2
• Press the AL2 (11) button The(bell) iconappears
• Press theAL2(11)buttonforapprox3 seconds untilthehourdigitsstartflashing
Youcan setthe hourswith the UP(8) and DOWN (10) buttons
• Press theSET (9)buttonuntil t he minutes d igitsstartflashing You cansetthe
minuteswith the UP (8) andDOWN (10) buttons

Activating Alarm IIAlarm 2:
• Press AL 1 to activateAlarm1 Thebell iconappearsabovethetime
• Press AL 2 to activateAlarm2 Thebell iconappearsbelowthe time
• Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 can both be activated at the same time
