Local radio

The local radio area is defined through a series of regional lists, starting from the mainland, followed by countries,
regions, towns, and finally a list of available radio stations within a designated area.
1. Press [MENU].
2. Press [ ]/[ ] repeatedly to select "Local Radio", then press [OK].
3. Press [VOL+]/[VOL-] repeatedly to select the location.
Press [ ] to return to the previous menu.
4. Press [OK] to confirm the selection.
The local station list is shown, select one and press [OK] to start listening.
Press [ ] to stop playback and return to the station list. To change the location setting, please refer to
"Configuration setting" (P12).
Presetting stations
You can preset up to 30 stations from the Internet radio and local radio.
1. While listening to a station, press and hold [PRESET].
The preset station list "Add to My Favourites" is shown.
2. Press [VOL+]/[VOL-] repeatedly to select a preset number.
3. Press [OK] to preset the station.

DAB/DAB+

DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) is a procedure of broadcasting the radio digitally. It gives less interference
and better sound quality and more information.
The first time you enter DAB mode, or if the station list is empty, the unit will start the full scan and memories the
stations.
1. Press [MENU].
2. Press [ ]/[ ] repeatedly to select "DAB/DAB+", then press [OK] to start full scan.
The number of stations is shown during scanning, then the stations list is shown.
Press [SCAN] to choose scan again.
3. Press [VOL+]/[VOL-] repeatedly to select.
4. Press [OK] to confirm the selection.
Press [ ] to stop playback and return to the station list.

Viewing available information
You can view various information about the DAB broadcast such as dynamic label information (if available), signal
strength, program type, ensemble name, channel number, bit rate, DAB variant and date.
Press [INFO] to view the available information.
