REPLACING BATTERIES
The opto-electronic filter uses 2 x 3V lithium batteries (CR2032). When the red 'Low charge alarm' LED (4) lights up, you need to
change the 2 batteries.
WARNING :
- Recycle used lithium batteries. Batteries are considered hazardous waste in Europe.
- Do not dispose of them in the rubbish bin, only in collection bins for used batteries.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The optoelectronic filter does not work
Filter stays dark after the weld arc is extinguished or when no arc
is present
Uncontrolled switching or flickering:
Filter darkens and then lightens while the welding arc is present
Side of the filter is lighter than the center of viewing area

- Press and pull the cover to remove it.
- Remove the old batteries.
- Replace the new batteries in the battery compartment. The '+' polarity must
remain visible.
- Replace the cover.
- The 'Low battery alarm' indicator (4) should now remain off.
- We recommend replacing both batteries once a year.

Activate the solar charge by exposing the cell to the light for 20
to 30 minutes
Check and clean detectors if needed.
Check arc sensors are not blocked from direct access to the arc
light.
This is a natural feature of LCD screens, this symptom is not
dangerous for the eyes. However for a maximum comfort, try to
keep a viewing angle of around 90°
