English
or compression stocking. For greater stability during activities, we
recommend wearing the brace in a shoe.
Putting on / taking off
Please note that initial fitting should be supervised by a qualified healthcare
professional.
• Undo all the straps of the brace so that you can place your foot into it
easily (Fig. 1+2). If needed, you can pull the narrower strap out of the
eyelet. To do this, remove the Y hook-and-loop fastening (Fig. 3). We
particularly recommend doing this in the first few days, during which
painful stretching of the ankle should be avoided. This allows you to
place your foot into the brace more easily. This step is not necessary in
the later course of treatment.
• Now put your foot into the brace and place your heel in the intended
heel opening. Check that your heel is as far back in the brace as possible
(Fig. 4). For the next steps, ensure that your foot is in a neutral position
(at 90° to your leg) (Fig. 5).
• Grip the longer, wide strap and pull it over the arch of your foot (instep)
from the inside of your foot to the outside. Then fasten it to the black
fuzzy patch on the outside (Fig. 6). Continue by wrapping the strap
around the back of your calf. While wrapping, ensure that the strap does
not cover the grey fuzzy patch on the inside of the brace (Fig. 7). Fasten
the end of the strap to the intended grey fuzzy patch on the outside
(Fig. 8). The strap should neither be too loose nor pulled too tight and
should make you feel secure.
• Pull the narrow strap until it is snug, redirect it and fasten it to the
intended light grey fuzzy patch at the upper edge of the brace
(Fig. 9+10). If this strap is too long, it can be shortened. To do this,
remove the Y hook from the end of the strap and shorten the strap using
scissors (Fig. 11). This adjustment can be repeated once the swelling has
gone down.
• Check that the brace fits snugly and that you feel stable in it. If
necessary, correct the fit.

• Wash the product by hand, preferably using a medi clean detergent, or
in delicate cycle at 30°C using a mild detergent without fabric
conditioners.
• Do not bleach.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry clean.
