Charging Mode:
When the radio is directly connected to the Type-C interface to charge, the radio indicator is red, and when fully
charged, the radio indicator turns green.
When the radio is plugged in the desktop charger to charge, the charger indicator is red, and when fully charged,
the charger indicator turns green.
Note:
When using desktop charger to charge, if the radio still prompts low voltage, the voltage doesn't reach the use
voltage. The radio will send the alarm sound. When low voltage is not been prompted, the radio can be used.
(However, please use the radio when fully charged).
Function Operations
1.Function Use and Operations
1.1 Power Knob
Clockwise rotate the power knob and the radio is turned on when a click is heard.
Anticlockwise rotate the power knob and the radio is turned off when a click is heard.
1.2 Channel Knob
Change the channel by rotating the channel knob.
1.3 Side Key Function
Side key 1: Shortly press to turn on/off the flashlight and long press to turn on/off the VOX (In the channel 14,
press the side key 1 and turn on the radio to switch Chinese/English voice prompt. In the channel 2, press the
side key 1 and turn on the radio to cancel CTCSS/DCS).
Side key 2: Shortly press to turn on/off the monitor and long press to turn on/off the SOS.
1.4CTCSS/DCS Setting
Connect to the radio and programming software through the special programming cable, CTCSS/CDCSS can be
set and changed. 50 CTCSS/104 CDCSS privacy codes prevent receiving irrelevant calling on the same
channel.
In channel 2, press the side key 1 and turn on the radio to deactivate or activate CTCSS/DCS.
1.5 Voice Prompt
Default voice prompt is English. Prompt can be set through programming software: OFF, Chinese and English.
Note: In the channel 14, press the side key 1 and turn on the radio to switch Chinese/English voice prompt.
1.6VOX Function
VOX on/off and 1-9 levels transmitting sensitivity can be selected through the programming software.
1.7Emergency Alarm Function
Long press the side key 2 and the alarm sound rings. Press it again or press PTT key, and the alarm sound
stops.
1.8 Busy Channel Lockout
Activate the function through the programming software. When selected channel number is being used by others,
pressing the PTT key, and the radio cannot transmit and issues a toot prompt. When the channel number is free,
press the PTT key to transmit.
1.9 TOT
TOT (The function can be turned on/off through the programming software). The function aims at preventing any
caller from occupying the channel for a long time. You can set TOT timing through the programming software
(30/60/90/120/150/180/210/240/270/300 seconds or off). If you continuously transmit over the set TOT time, the
radio will stop transmitting and makes a beep prompt. To stop beep, release the PTT key. Press the PTT key
again, the radio transmits.
1.10 Flashlight Function
Default set the side key 1 as the flashlight function. Shortly press to turn on or off the function.
1.11 Monitor Function
After turning on the radio, press the side key 2 to forcibly receive and listen to whether there is a voice on the
current channel.
