3. OPERATION
Battery charging (Fig. 2)
-
Connect the charger to the tool and plug it into the mains.
-
During charging, the indicator light will turn on in red.
-
The battery takes 3 to 5 hours to fully charge.
-
When the hedge trimmer is fully charged, the indicator light will turn green.
For safety reasons, you cannot use the hedge trimmer while it is charging.
Note: The battery is built-in to the tool. If you ever need to replace it, do not attempt to do so on
your own. Contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to replace it safely.
When you notice that the power of the hedge trimmer decreases, charge the battery. Do not
wait until it is completely discharged, otherwise the battery may be damaged.
First, make sure that there are no stones or other obstacles in the area where the hedge
trimmer is to be used.
Please note that the safety lock prevents the tool from operating unintentionally.
WARNINGS:
The blades continue to move for a few seconds after the tool is switched off. For this reason,
before cleaning, turn it off and wait until the blades have come to a complete stop.
Do not touch the blades under any circumstances, especially when the tool is in operation.
Switching on the hedge trimmer (Fig. 3)
To unlock the tool, push the safety lock and press the trigger at the same time.
Switching off the hedge trimmer
To turn the tool off, simply release the trigger.
The hedge trimming blade (5) is used for cutting hedges and bushes (Fig. 4), while the lawn
cutting blade (1) is used for cutting grass and hedges with a higher degree of precision (Fig. 5).
