The green pilot lamp (D), which comes on switching the temperature regu-
la-tore to a number position, the refrigerating unit automatically operates.
The fast-freeze button (C) with its yellow pilot light (B). The yellow pilot light
comes on when the switch has been operated. The refrigerating unit then
operates continuously.
The red temperature warning light (A) blinks on when:
– the appliance has been started up but the storage temperature has not
yet been reached;
– the minimum storage temperature is no longer being maintained (fault);
– excessive amounts of fresh food are placed inside; or
– if the appliance door is open for too long.

Starting up and temperature regulation

The temperature regulator can be used for the variable setting of the sto-
rage temperature for your frozen food.
The following effects are of significance in respect of the interior temperature:
– Ambient temperature;
– Quantity and temperature of the food stored;
– Frequency with which the door is opened and how long it is left open.
The following temperature settings can therefore only be considered as
recommendations that may well need to be adapted to suit your particular
situation.
Setting „ 0 " means: refrigeration off.
Setting „1" means: highest, warmest internal temperature
Setting „4" means: lowest, coldest internal temperature
Recommended regulator setting: „2-3".
1. Plug the mains plug into the mains socket., the green light (D) comes on
2. Turn the temperature regulator (E) in the direction of „O"; The compres-
sor starts and then runs automatically.
3 .The red lamp (A) flashed and the sound alarm signal. Reset the sound
alarm signal pushing the switch (C) . The red switch continuosly flashes.
Operate the fast-freeze switch (C) once again. The yellow pilot lamp (B)
comes on. If the quick-freezing function is not ended manually, the applian-
ce switch off the quick-freezing function after 52 hours. The yellow light
goes out. The temperature regulator (E) can be used to set the required sto-
rage temperature, -18°C or colder.
Important! Wait until the freezer compartment has reached a temperature
of –18°C, or the red warning light has gone out, before storing frozen food.
Important: Regularly check on the red temperature pilot light (A) that the
required storage temperature is being maintained.
