Remove all detachable parts.

Dismantling
Dismantle the appliance by reversing the steps outlined in subsec ons 1–7 in the

"Assembly" sec on (Fig. 7–1).
If the retaining ring cannot be removed easily by hand, use appropriate tools.

To remove the cu ng disc e ortlessly, insert a screwdriver between the disc and

the head, then gently li the disc.

Cleaning
Remove food residues from the appliance.

Wash each element in warm soapy water. Clean the body only with a damp cloth.

If the appliance will not be used for a long me, apply edible oil to the strainer and
•
blade surfaces for lubrica on.
Bleaching agents containing chlorine may cause discoloura on of aluminium surfaces.

Thinners may cause cracks or discoloura on on the appliance.
