The device does not switch on.
Self-diagnosis
The device has a self-diagnosis function to localise possible faults. Please carry this out when the function is restricted
and make a note of the results. Pass this information on to customer service together with your problem report.
1. Access to the function
- Only possible within the first 20 seconds after the device is connected to the power supply.
- Press and hold the burger button for 10 seconds. This starts the self-diagnosis function.
2. Display Check
- Press the start/stop button
- All selection options light up on the display for 5 seconds
- The version number appears on the display (e.g. EU01), where EU stands for the 230 V version and US for the 120
V version. The number stands for the version of the device software.
- Pressing the start/stop button again
respective buttons and check whether the LED lights up and a signal tone sounds.
3. Check resistance
- After pressing the start/stop button
temperature of the plates and the current temperature of the thermometer should appear in the time display.
4. Check relay
- Press the start/stop button again
- Pressing the start/stop button ends the heating process
- Pressing the start/stop button again starts the heating process of the lower plate (the upper plate remains inactive)
- Pressing the start/stop button ends the heating process
5. Press and hold the burger button
