Do not use the appliance if the mains plug or mains cable are damaged, if it has
been dropped or damaged in any other way. Only have the appliance serviced or
repaired by a qualified technician. Repairs carried out by unqualified persons can
cause injury or serious faults.
If the mains cable of the appliance is damaged, it must replaced by the manufactu-
rer or its customer service or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
To remove the mains plug from the socket, grasp the mains plug and not the
mains cable. Do not pull on the cable.
Never immerse the appliance, the mains plug or the mains cable in water or
other liquids.
If the appliance into water, the mains plug immediately. Never attempt to pull the
appliance out of the water while it is connected to the mains.
Only use and store the appliance in dry indoor areas.
The appliance is not suitable for outdoor use.
The appliance must always be switched off and disconnected from the power
supply when it is unattended, when accessories are being inserted or removed,
when it is not in use, when there is a fault during operation and for cleaning.

When the appliance is in operation, accessible surfaces (such as the top) can
become very hot. Take care not to come into contact with hot appliance parts. Use
oven gloves if necessary.
Only change the plates when the appliance has cooled down completely.
Do not cover the appliance during operation and do not place any objects on
the appliance.
Risk of material, property and equipment damage
Check the appliance for damage before each use. Do not use a damaged product or damaged accessories.
Do not switch on the appliance until the respective pair of plates has been inserted correctly.
Lay the cable in such a way that it does not obstruct anyone or that there is a risk of people getting caught or
tripping over it.
Only use the plates in the appliance and not in the oven, on the hob, etc. to avoid damage.
Ensure that the plates are firmly attached to the appliance.
Do not store the appliance until it has cooled down completely and has been cleaned.
After cleaning, do not put the plates back into the appliance until they have dried.
