To remove the plates, press the release buttons firmly to release the plates. Tilt
the plates away from the appliance and remove them.
CAUTION!
RISK OF BURNS
Only remove the plates from the appliance when they have cooled down.
Slide the grease drip tray into the opening provided on the right-hand side.
Leaking cooking juices or fat are channelled from the plates to the back of the
appliance, where they drip into the drip tray and can simply be disposed of after use.
Place the appliance on a stable, insensitive surface connect the plug to a
functioning socket.
The upper plate rests on the lower plate, with the food in between. The contact
on both sides means that the food cooks evenly and quickly.

The grill top has a locking mechanism on the left-hand side.
This can be released by lifting the handle and pressing lightly downwards on the
upper part of the grill so that the plates remain parallel,
even when frying thicker food.
The upper plate is next to the lower plate. Both are on the same level and can be
used as a tabletop grill. In this position, the appliance can be used with both the
grill and roasting plates.
